Review--Stitching Lemonade

Stitching Lemonade was born from Jody Gilster's love of sewing,  along with some of life's lemons. She enjoyed sewing and quilting so much that with the encouragement of family and friends Jody decided to share her love of colors and her unique style with others, so she created Stitching Lemonade.

Jody only makes one of a kind items, no two items are exactly alike. They are all unique, and special. If you purchase one of Stitching Lemonades pieces you will have the only one of its kind, as Jody does not replicate quilting, patterns or colors.

 At Stitching Lemonade quilting is the passion. Jody offers one of a kind quilted blankets, mug rugs, purses, hand bags, table runners, party packs, memory quilts, hot pads...the sky is the limit! Want something special just ask Jody and she will make it happen!

Jody sent me a one of a kind mug rug to review. It is so pretty I feel bad using it. However, not only is it a beautiful decorative piece, it is also very functional. My coffee mug sits on it every morning, and I also place my candles on top of it in the evenings, it looks so pretty under candle light. 

The detailed quilting on this piece is just beautiful, and there is so much detail even though it is a smaller piece. I can only imagine how beautiful her quilts are. The bold and beautiful colors and patterns Jody chose are so pretty and compliment each other perfectly. 

My mug rug sits on my end table beside my favorite chair and is now a decorative piece in our home. I love the fact that this is the only one like this she will ever make, somehow it makes me feel special. I was truly impressed by the craftsmanship of this piece, and I would love to see more! Jody is very talented, and creative and you can see that in her work. You definitely have to check her out.
